I remember all the hype for this kid with YouTube videos when he was in HS. I even felt he would never make it to campus. And now he is in the portal without ever seeing the field. What gives?

Most kids that don’t play as freshman quit. Baseball has been like this for years now.

I never really understood the appeal of MJ as a pitcher.

I was looking forward to seeing him pitch next season. Just don't understand, why would he leave already, if he was hurt, unable to play? Can only speculate, but I guess that is something between him and the coaches...
