I know it's way, way too early to project this but just wanted to for fun. My favorite thing about being an LSU fan is reloading and seeing who will return or step up next season. Notes underneath.

QB - Nuss
RB - Durham / Berry
WRs - Hilton, Anderson, Thomas, Parker, Sampson, Billiot in that order
TE - Green (Pimpton)
LT - Tyree Adams
LG - Cohen Echols
C - DJ Chester
RG - transfer or battle between Lee, Bordelon, Mubenga, or 3 high level Freshmen (Harper, Curnes, Miller)
RT - Weston Davis

Defense
EDGE - Womack
DT - Breaux
DT - McKinley
DE - Reliford
LB - Whit Weeks
LB - Atkins
Safety - Spears
Safety - Jordan Allen or Jackson
Corner - Stamps
Corner - Pickett

Depending on personnel
Star - Klyin Jackson or Allen
Nickel+ Dime - Woodland
4-3 - Keys/ Singleton

Notes:
If Nuss leaves, I'm comfortable with Underwood starting as a tFr. Look at Riolla for Nebraska. If not, we could probably find a 1 year transfer.
Jackson has potential at RB and may still find the way, but I like Durham and Berry getting carries there. They need touches.
We need a guy who can block at TE and it may be a transfer. Green and Pimpton are solid in the passing game but they have to block a lot better.
WR is up in the air and depends on if Anderson and Hilton are here next year. If they leave, I think we'll have to hit the portal hard.
OL will be a big turnover, but I like Chester, Adams, and Davis to start. Echols has great HS film and I think he's too good to not start at Guard next year. The 5th guy is hard to determine and could be anyone left to battle for it, including some good Fr., or a transfer.

I like what next year's defense could be. Breaux almost feels like a Godchaux type who could start here for 3-4 years. McKinley should be ready to roll next season, and Suggs is listed as a Jr. FWIW. That would leave Shone and 4 Fr. (Williamson, Brown, Mathis, and Battle). I think Womack and Reliford are locks for next season on the EDGE, with Carpenter and Cobbins as depth along with 2 highly rated Fr.
Weeks will be one starter at LB, but the second could be anyone. I think Atkins has the highest ceiling, but Keys and Singleton should be ready as well.
Corner could be really solid next year. I think Stamps and Pickett will be the primary starters, but Woodland will rotate in and play some Nickel. He'll get starter reps. I hope Toviano can find a role somewhere. Safety and Star will be the best of Spears, Jackson, Allen, and maybe Toviano.

Again, this was just for fun and is just a long shot projection.

That Defense is going to be pretty stacked next season and further down the line.

I don’t see how you have Hilton listed as WR1 over Anderson next season. Anderson looks like the next LSU star WR.

I suspect Sampson will try his luck elsewhere if he is still that far down the list.

You do realize every single guy you mentioned can....transfer at any moment.

Why do this?

With the transfer portal there's really no point in even speculating

This looks more like a starter chart as opposed to a depth chart.

Dj Pickett and stamps on the boundary with pj woodland in the slot is a helluva cb trio. Assuming spears takes the next step the secondary is set up nicely. The defense in general looks very talented on paper. Breaux and mcckinley is helluva DT tandem and we’re gonna be deep at edge with Womack, Cobbins , shanklin.

Yeah it's just a list of starters and one or two position battles. It's hard to ever add depth when the guys you don't expect to start might transfer.

I think Underwood would wait a year behind Nuss but I do not know if he would wait behind a random single season transfer.
