NCAA Baseball Bat Contracts by School

I got curious about which schools swing which bats...this is what I've been able to find. There are some schools that don't seem to have a contract with one specific company, they seem to swing bats from several different companies.
1. Tennessee - LS
2. Arkansas - several different
3. Virginia - Rawlings
4. Texas Tech - several different
5. Oregon State - Demarini
6. Oklahoma State - Demarini
7. Texas - LS
8. Miami - LS
9. Ole Miss - Easton
10. Texas State - Marucci/Victus
11. Arizona - LS
12. Louisville - LS
13. Notre Dame - Demarini
14. Georgia - LS
15. UCLA - Easton
16. Vanderbilt - Demarini
17. Gonzaga - Marucci/Victus
18. Southern Miss - Easton
19. LSU - Marucci/Victus
20. Florida State - LS
21. NC State - LS
22. North Carolina - LS
23. TCU - Demarini
24. Dallas Baptist - Rawlings
25. UCONN -
LS has 9 top 25 teams
Demarini has 5 top 25 teams
Marucci/Victus has 3 top 25 teams
Easton has 3 top 25 teams
Rawlings has 2 top 25 teams
3 top 25 teams that swing several bats or I couldn't find anything on
Other notable teams:
LS - ULL, Louisville, USC, UNC,
Demarini - Florida, MS State, Michigan, Indiana State,
Easton - Alabama, East Carolina,
Marucci/Victus - LA Tech, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville,
Rawlings (I believe Easton and Rawlings are owned by the same company though)- South Carolina, Duke, Liberty, Rawlings, Norfolk St,
I looked into this because I was really wondering if there was any correlation between top teams and the bats they swung. I have swung several of the BBCOR bats from recents years. To me, based purely on feel and performance (from me who by no means is or was a college ball player) they rank as:
Louisville Slugger Prime / Meta / Select PWR - composite lines. Feel incredible, barely any feedback on your hands when your hit it (doesn't jar), ball seems to come off with lots of pop.
Demarini Voodoo / The Goods - Nice pop and distance, but they didn't feel as good as the LS bats. Hits that weren't as solid felt much worse on the hands.
Marucci - Marucci doesn't make a composite bat as far as I know. These had okay pop/distance, but didn't seem to be as consistent as the LS or Demarini. Definitely didn't feel as good. Probably has more to do with the fact that every other BBCOR bat I swung was composite or at least a hybrid and these are alloy.
Easton - didn't swing any
Rawlings - didn't swing any

Gonna be tougher to find that data I think.

In short, I'd go with "lots"

Marucci does make a composite. Lots of other factors go into hitting and stats besides the make of a bat.

It’s crazy how the market use to be dominated by Easton and Louisville.

Why do all teams bats lately look like my kids bat thats been rolling around on the garage concrete? Even Miss st bats today look dinged up. Brad Cresse would not be happy since he always wiped his barrel like a Deichmann light saber before pitches

Who made the old redline bat from around 2000

Crazy how BBCOR regulations completely destroyed Easton. How have they not come up with a solution

Chris Burke explained this on the broadcast Friday. Basically the composite bats get better the more they are used. Also they are tested before every series to make sure they don’t have too much, for lack of a better term, spring in them. The key is to get as close to that limit as possible without going over. So when a player finds a bat that is right below that limit they use it until it breaks.

It’s wild. The orange composite stealth they made was maybe the best bat of all time. The 2009 team used them. Just a massive sweet spot.
I was in high school when the switch to BBCOR happened and I found that the one piece bats were much better. 5150 from Rawlings was my favorite. 2 piece BBCOR bats seemed so weak.

The SV12 was elite as well.

Who made Deichman’s bat? Go with that brand.

I bought one as a donation to my sons hs team that year. Many balls left the yard with it.

Easton Reflex C-Core 96, 97 greatest bat ever made. TPX also had a bat in either 97, 98 that was comparable. It sucked arse as a high schooler going from a -5 to negative -3. That 2 ounces was a huge difference to get adjusted to.

Yeah, no kidding. He was looking for if there is a correlation to the type of bat. If that was the only thing that went into hitting then there would definitely be a correlation.

Reflex C-core were nice.
But Redline was gas. Rediculous.

It was the Easton redline. That what I swung in high school. Still have it. Lol
