all I've seen is that the opening round games of the playoff will be hosted by higher seeds.
will the second round all be played at NY6 bowl sights?

quarterfinals and beyond are NY6 sites

Round 1: Top 4 teams bye, seeds 5-12 play at better seed's home stadium
Round 2: 4 of the 6 NY6 bowls. In 2024 this will be Fiesta, Peach, Rose, and Sugar
Round 3: The remaining 2 of the NY6 bowls. In 2024 this will be Cotton and Orange.
Round 4: Championship game. Any stadium can bid for it, it doesn't have to be at a traditional bowl site (will probably always be an NFL stadium)

So, basically we’d have to be a 5-8 seed next year to get a Death Valley home game in the first round
a stretch, but one can hope

On campus playoff games. Gosh. No better atmospheres. College football is about to get even better boys and girls.

For the SEC, this likely means the SECCG winner gets a bye, the SECCG loser (and possibly one other team) likely gets a home game, and one or two others might have to go on the road.
Sounds good to me.
