I’ve seen better teams struggle against worse Auburn teams at Jordan Hare. We barely win there and there’s a reason for it. It’s a crazy place to play.

LSU and the offense brought their worst game and we still won. Not appreciating the win is the definition of unreal expectations

Now it's unreal to expect the team to not play their worst game?

We appreciate the win, but were fans...we know if that continues we will put up a bunch of L's.

The unreal expectations are that they’ll never have a bad game. This place predicates every game be a 2019 Burrow game so that’s more you looks like

Offense played a bad game. But anytime you walk out Jordan hare with a win it’s a good thing.

It doesn't have to be the worst or the best. The coach is getting paid a LOT of money to have his team prepared. They have not looked well prepared vs FSU or Auburn. It's OK to be disappointed in that.

Honestly every team will have a “worst game” every season. Just logic bro.

This. People have to stop living in 2019 and recognize that your, team who hasn’t, who hasn’t had a winning season in two years is off to a 4-1 start and is 2-0 in the SEC. Nobody’s ask people to get excited about moral victories; these are real wins.

They WILL LOSE several games including the next 4. IF they are lucky, they finish 7-5 with a more reasonable expectation of 6-6. That is why FSU was so important for a winning season.
After Arkansas, they will be 4-6.

Our defense has what it takes. I think that most people realize that it takes more than that to be good in the SEC. If you give Daniels no option, but to pass the football, it’s a nightmare. The defenses are only going to get better going forward.

And every fanbase will be disappointed in that effort.

I don’t think it’s that dire. Every team we play from here on but for Bama will have weaknesses just like we do. It will come down to coaching, game planning and adjustments, all of which have been the best I’ve seen in almost 20 years based on current body of work. We will lose more games but I expect a better outcome than last year

Fla State was the first game. It showed us exactly what Kelly was dealing with this year... people got mad that he didn't show a lot of emotion. Perhaps he was already aware this isn't currently a polished, dominant team, and had a lot of work to do to get better.

Yesterday we played a road game against a team that had it's back against the wall, and came out on fire. Game looked like a defensive struggle,... except they were gashing our defense. Had us on the ropes in the first half.
We rode that out, and pulled out a win. Defense was able to adjust and mostly shut Auburn down; mostly. They still drove a few times, but fricked up.
We weren't impressive on offense, but also minimized turnovers, and we got a drive late in the first half that stopped the bleeding. Auburn whipped our asses up and down the field the first half, and was only up 3.

We're going to get more games like that this year. If we can continue to win the games we have a fighting chance in, the record will be okay.

shite is so week to week. Some crazy outcomes out of nowhere all across country. We could win going away next week. Who knows. I’ll be there supporting the tigers hope you’ll be there too.

I appreciate Armoni, but he didn’t play last night.

Umm, No. Nobody has said anything about having expectations of performing like 2019. However, I think everyone (you included) expected JD to have more than 80 passing yards last night.

I definitely expected JD to outplay Ashford as well. We'd be 5-0 with Ashford as our QB....and he's their 3rd string guy that was making only his 2nd start.

Same way man. It’s already a crazy season and everyone’s beating up on each other so let’s get in on it and see where the chips may fall. No expectations beyond that this year

Also let’s not forget that the greatest team in the history of college football beat AU by only 3 points at home. Like Tuberville once said, LSU and Auburn have similar athletes. The games are usually toss ups

I totally did but I also expected a hard fought game with LSU winning a close one…the offense should have played better but the defense in the second half more than compensated. Net net, pretty happy with the SEC road W. Live to fight another day
