Offense Playcalling

The offensive play-calling was the worst I have seen at LSU in a while. Straight short passes and runs up the middle. It was embarrassing how non-creative and predictable our play calling was. If you have a “gunslinger” quarterback, how does he not throw a single deep ball the whole game?

Because they ran two high safeties the majority of the game and Nuss was trying not to turn it over.
Must we continue to bag on the playcalling so much? It was the first game with a new OC, new QB, and replacing some very good receivers. Also missing your two speed receivers.
Not sure why everyone expected mistakes not to be made.

We need to stop calling out a 2 man high safeties as an excuse.
Every defense has this look most times. Please dig a bit deeper, and just say Sloan could have called a better game. The middle of the field was open the entire night.
