The SEC is a grind, this team is equipped to win it all. I admit we need to figure it out in a hurry. For those fans who a re ready to hang it up, please do. LSU is one of the best teams in the country, We will have ups and downs, so far every team has had these moments. Trust in the process. It is the the process that we have right now. Jay Johnson is one of the best coaches in the country. He is trying to take a bunch of kids that are still coming together, because of the current state of college athletics, and building something strong. In this college landscape this process is every year. Next year he starts over to put the best team on the field. Bear looked terrible at 3rd. We can all agree. But at least Jay Johnson had the balls to try something that could have potentially made us stronger. Give the man a chance to figure it out.
The criticism our pitching coach gets is just so ignorant. The man has a resume that is pretty dang good. Every time folks bash him because a kid can not throw a strike it just makes me think how stupid some of the fans are. We don't have a unlimited supply of pitchers, we have to work with what we have. If you think that Jay and Yeskie are not addressing these things daily you are crazy. We still have a lot of baseball to play. Kids need to step up and man up. Yeskie can not pitch for them.

Lack of relief pitching depth could be the downfall. I figured someone else would've stepped up by now beyond Evans and Cowan, but that is not the case. I'm confident the bats will come around. But the clock is ticking on the bullpen figuring it out.

while true one game does not define a season, the display last night was a complete abortion that should hammered into these guys heads. I don't give a shite about 'that's baseball" they should not lose a game to Nws'trn.

I don’t understand the thought process behind this at all. If we went on a streak in the 7th and lost 13-9 or something like that does that make the game any better? I do not believe it does we still played like crap. A loss is a loss.

The chicken littles and the sunshine pumpers are both overreacting. They got their asses whooped. It's ok. They'll be fine. The sky ain't falling and we don't need dissertations on why everything is great.

I'm not overreacting to this loss, but come on

Pitching outside of 3-4 guys is a huge issue that will kill us in any postseason loser's bracket game. I don't see the depth to make it through he CWS

Man, this board panics after each pitch. Forget about what the board thinks and forget about trying to make sense.

I'm not on here melting or saying the season is over, but I'll provide some comments.

In your opinion.

Agreed.

Agreed.

Eh.

True but the last team he was with went from the #115 ranked pitching staff in his last year to the #4 ranked pitching staff the year after he left.

So you are saying it's a recruiting/talent issue?

Still makes the loss the same, whether you lose by one or 10 I get it counts the same on the score sheet. But do you feel the same whenever LSU loses a football game by a field goal or when they get destroyed. The problem here isn't they lost the problem is they haven't been hitting worth a shite and it carried over to an inferior team that's the problem. Whatever they're doing it's not getting better, so Jay saying we're going to fix it and just flip a switch I don't know about that I hope they do they definitely have the talent. But I don't think they have the pitching to make a run this year but who knows it's baseball it changes weekly.
