For sure, but we all knew this wasn’t about kids selling autographs and t shirts.

Anyone else think it's bizarre for a centibillionaire and his wife to be issuing a statement about a high school football player committing to their alma mater? Has everyone lost their fricking minds?

It was a joke when they introduced it. It’s just become exactly what a lot people warned it would.

I wonder if the media will keep calling NIL recipients " student athletes"

Pandora's Box is open. From now on it'll be 'faux commitments' by top players in order to drive up the bidding wars. It's all about the money from here on and the high school players will be demanding cash long before playing college ball.

You can thank the federal courts and Ed O’Bannon for this nonsense. Common sense lost.

Was opened a few years ago. Went from you can't buy a college athlete a hamburger to negotiating 8 figure deals before ever stepping foot on campus. What a fricking joke. BCS era was peak

NIL didn't really have an intent. It came about due to a unanimous ruling by the Supreme Court
