I will speak for myself. I didn’t expect Omaha this year. Offense was gonna take a big slide but we’re told the portal pitchers we got and guys coming back would help right the ship while the offense gets their footing and starts contributing.

So while I thought we would take a dip I certainly didn’t see us being almost dead last. This was the same issue I had with football. Yes I expected the defense to have some set backs but not be the worst or second worst ever. This is my beef with the team. We don’t have major injuries. Noot is back. Shores would help but he got injured last year and wasn’t counted on for this year. So we have the guys that Jay has mostly recruited and not much has improved. So he has failed at coaching and player evaluation this season. I gave him kudos last year for the job he did but this is another year and so far it’s not good. I’m not asking him to be fired. This has to be fixed on the offseason. Start playing guys that you know or want to be here next year that way if they are not up to snuff and don’t think they can do what you need them to do then they can be processed and find other players that you can think will contribute.

Let the downvoting begin.

Jay Johnson is relentless. He will do all he can to fix it.

You brought up the pitching not living up to the billing, but they seem to be turning it around lately. We can't score.

I thought we would challenge for a spot in Omaha because while our hitting would be up and down, with our transfer portal pitchers, our pitching was going to dominate.

Welp.

Who do you think Milam, Larson, Brown, Moffett, Johnson, and Anderson are? Who should be playing that's not, and why/?

Didn’t post this for him to read and take my advice. More so the rantards that don’t understand that fans can be critical of coaches when the team is far worse then anyone thought without any reason why.

I am sure there are others but if you trust these guys let them continue to play and have a bigger role. Why push the growing pains off another year and have to deal with this again.

Are you saying you’re not getting enough respect with your displeasure?

Is that a thing now?

Let me say what you said in 1 sentence. I knew there would be a let down after losing all those good players from the National Championship team, but I thought we would be better.

Baseball is hard. League is good. Lots of lost production.

Crying doesn’t help.

Still may. I remember when the retards on this board last year said LSU had no shot at Omaha.

Some people just enjoy having miserable lives.

Just a thought. We, myself included, believe the press & web sites: LSU will be great, we have the prettiest girls, the best uniforms, the best pitchers, the #1 recruiting class, etc., etc., etc. We drink the kool aid & click pieces. When things go to hell, we are put on suicide watch.
Welcome to LSU sports nation.

No I’m saying we are called idiots when we are simply voicing our opinion. Who the hell thought lsu would be this bad and who is okay with that?

Nothing but we as fans are allowed to voice our opinion. I don’t like losing do you?

I'm not sure who is calling anyone idiots for being disappointed.

You can read the game threads and know the pulse of displeasure. But what are we going to do? It's not some badge of honor to be uneasy with this team. Ask JML, Cheer, Saint, Dom, etc.

No one is happy being 3-12 in the SEC. Not any baseball fan that I know.

So to your original title:

And we as fans can point out when you start crying too much.
