Don't know why but I love the NFL draft. Probably due to growing up a Saints fan - most seasons it was the only thing we had to look forward to.

Will Campbell - 8th overall
Zy Alexander- 44th, Round 2
Kyren Lacy - 77th, Round 3 (to the Saints!)
Mason Taylor - 85th, Round 3

Too low for Mason, too high for Kyren, IMO.

Jets fans will riot if they take Milroe.

Kyren Lacy is a few drops away from being elite. Why too high? He's a big body elite route running WR that fights for extra yardage and catches through contact.

His only downside is he occasionally puts his eyes up field prior to securing the football.

Not a hot take considering it’s been talked about on all the local shows

Take it for what it’s worth but on Whiskey & Wine they hinted at the possibility of Jones coming back bc NFL teams want to see him at guard.

Some guys prefer the right side, but if he does want to be a LT in the pros, that would be a smart move, based on his projections in the draft.

First 2 rounds go no matter what though.

A few?!?

He has terrible hands and has consistently had bad hands for multiple seasons.

Absolutely not. He's average at route running.

Not occasionally, routinely.

ETA:

He's a very good athlete with good size, so he has upside, but NFL teams will have to gamble they can coach him how to catch and run better routes.

That would actually be funny, because people were basically called retarded for wanting to see him move inside to kick Heard out to tackle.

I’m not sure if that would be accurate tho, because he’s not a bad tackle. It would almost make more sense to see him come back and get the Les Miles treatment of moving him to LT to boost his stock than kicking him inside.

PFF does not construct their mocks with much nuance. Usually built off of their grading.

That being said, guys like Zy & Lacy will go much higher than LSU fans think.

Will be a good pro.

Will be a 10 year NFL TE, barring injury. Just so consistent.

NFL teams will reach on Lacy because of measurables. I wonder what Zy's will be like. His film is pretty excellent this year.

Well I’m not local and didn’t listen to those fools even when I was. I’m not sure anyone here has even said a word about it

NFL drafts college tackles all the time to move to guard. This is such a weird angle for him to come back.
