Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know why Gutierrez has not been playing much if at all for the softball team?

I suppose she is being groomed for the first base position next year, but I sure thought we would see a lot more of her this year.

Probably because Redoutey beat her out in RF. Although the way Clark played this weekend Gutierrez may warrant some more time at 1B.
