The fact that he had this team up and prepared for Florida speaks volumes to his abilities. This program is poised for a solid run over the next decade.

We have a competent HC for the first time in YEARS. You can see he has a plan and a process and it is so refreshing to see. This was always going to be a rebuilding year but you can see the team grow week in and week out which is a huge tell. so for i would say a strong 8

Team seems to be in a much better mindset which was half the problem last 2 years
Would still like to see more creativity on offense but I certainly understand when you have a young offensive line like they do

I do think he has a plan a and process in place, but it will take a couple of years to see the results. Takes a bit of faith.

I can see the trenches will be top tier under his leadership, which bodes well.

i think 8 is fair. they did a nice job piecing together the roster after the texas bowl. and god knows how much they've had to revamp the program's internal processes after 17 years of miles and orgeron.

The rant 3.50

Me 8/8.5. Because of special teams it would be higher.

If we win Saturday, we’re tied for first in the West going into November and Bama. That was crazy talk going into this rebuilding year.

He's setting LSU up to be the team to beat in the SEC West for the next several years and is currently in a position to exceed expectations in year one. We'd already be bowl eligible if ST doesn't blow its entire foot off.

My guess is that he puts a premium on character, which hasn't been a thing in the program for a long time. That's extremely hard to do in the NIL age.

Special Teams getting an F minus drags everything else down.

They just looked so bad against Florida St. or else I would say 9. I don’t care LSU lost the game but they looked so unprepared doing it.

LSU football with a plan is dangerous for everyone else. And I think he has a good plan & process.

The offense needs to be a turn key machine though, like it has been at Bama. My eyes are on that coming down the stretch here. Ok, you adapted & changed during FL, but will you regress or keep building, foot on throat ?

7 and that’s solely on special teams and our home game vs TN.

I can accept a loss but this team didn’t look prepared. Florida State as well.

Overall, I like his press conferences, adjustments towards success as a coach and recruiting hasn’t fallen off.
