Real talk. How fast is Jayden Daniels?

He ran 21mph at practice, that's the exact same speed Lamar Jackson ran on his fastest NFL touchdown.
He looks like a low 4.4 guy maybe high 4.3?

Lamar is a good comp for him. I think you answered your own question. He is 21 mph. And his ability to break tackles and get yards after contact is elite. I think he will be a good pro qb. He should be a 1st rounder IMO

When he runs he doesn’t even look like he is trying. He just floats and outruns everyone.

He's just so smooth and effortless. I agree I'd love to see him hit a sideline and have open field. It almost looked like a glance a few times late in the Bama game

Part of his effectiveness is that he’s faster than he looks. He’s making plays because people aren’t respecting his speed & acceleration until it’s too late

So many times opponents have had the angle to cut him off at the line of scrimmage, yet he still gets the corner and picks up positive yards.
And he has elite ability to pick his feet up when people dive at him from behind and he doesn’t get tripped up.

Knock on wood, but his bell security has bee. Amazing given how fast he runs & how many touches he gets

It would be awesome to see him too off a 50-80yd TD run. There's just never that back breaking hole and he's been playing against SEC athletes all year unlike Lamar Jackson did. There always seems to be 2-3 guys that just happen to be on the side of the field JD just scrambled too to prevent that 70yd TD.

I really believe if Jayden comes back next year and improves just a little bit more in his timing/deep ball accuracy he will be a 1st round pick.
