The problem with that is handing the game over to Cowan when we are down a run or 2. You know Shores is going to give up at least a couple in the first couple of innings. Jay never pulls Shores fast enough.

Id be in for starting Cowan. Or get him in quick tomorrow. They used several pitchers last Saturday , I believe it was.

It better be a very quick hook for Shores, because he gives up runs faster than almost any LSU pitcher. You blink and LSU is down 2-3 runs in 2 innings.

I’m ok with it, but Jay always waits too long to pull Shores. Evans and Cowan can each pitch 4 innings tomorrow. Shores should get no leeway. He starts putting people on base he has to come out. No letting him pitch out of jams.
