I am looking to attend the tournament this year and have started looking online for tickets. Looks like the website says available in March but haven’t seen any available.
When do tickets typically become available and how much do they usually cost?
Thanks for any relevant answers!

The SEC really does a bad job of advertising ticket sales for non premium seats for this event. I looked all the second half of March and nothing for regular reserved or general admission.
But I could buy Mens or womens basketball tournament tickets weeks after they took place…
With it being single elimination you can probably scoop up some tickets on the cheap from fans who have had their teams bounced early.

Email from the SEC office said this:
April 14: Public On Sale - Full Session Ticket Books, Dr Pepper 6-packs
May 18: Single Session tickets on sale
Not sure on prices

I bought general admission tickets the day before the semifinal game last year. No issues.
Highly recommend going.

I got the a couple Dr Pepper packs a few years ago. We were able to sit where we wanted and to follow the shade around the stadium for a few days. Worth every penny.

With the new format all SEC make it to Hoover. But it is now single elimination. That makes it hard for a fan to want to travel knowing your team is only guaranteed one game.

Yeah I'll be interested to see how the new format affects attendance. The top 4 seeds don't even start play until Thursday or Friday.

Big emphasis on finishing top 4 now though where you can treat the tournament like a typical weekend series with just 3 games to play to win the championship. Not to mention top 4 in the SEC basically guarantees you’re a top 8 seed. That’s the goal being tied for 4th right now in the standings.

You won't be disappointed. It's a great event in a great venue.
I wish they would 't have changed the tournament format

Normally there. are plenty of general admission tickets available on game day. The price last year was $15. I went to the Tenn game with my 11 year old and a policeman who was working security noticed us and gave us 2 free tickets. "Enjoy the game" he said. Very nice gesture. Bear Jones hit one into the stratosphere. They are still looking for that baseball. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

They really shouldve adopted the acc model of pool play

How would you do that with 16 teams though? There wouldn't be enough time to play all those games.

Nothing dumber in that tournament than two teams already eliminated switching pitchers every inning or two in a meaningless game.

Only the top 12, 4- 3 team pods, 15 total games. No one has to worry about burning all their arms
