According to Orgeron via Moscona. I’m not a fan of redshirting in this day and age except for maybe OL and QBs. And QBs only because they are much more likely to transfer now and may need that extra season. I mean, what if Burrow hadn’t redshirted? Or Myles? Pretty much every other position isn’t staying 5 years unless there’s an injury. And if they’re good, they’re probably not even staying 4. If you haven’t cracked the lineup by year 3 or 4, you’ve been passed up by guys younger than you. Although, I’m glad Cam Lewis, Glen Logan, and Neil Ferrell did.

Who is behind Nuss? For that you might as well put Max back out there.

If I was Nuss I would want to play half of ULM and try and earn reps against A&M. It’ll be a open QB competition next year so might as well get some reps and tape for the next coach.

The kid is confused, does not k ow what he wants. A few days before Arkansas he wanted to play the rest of the reason and did not want to red shirt.

Proof positive that parents should let the coaches coach, and stay the hell out of game planning.

Meh. He probably thought he’d win the Arkansas game. I thought he would too. But since it went the way it did, and he doesn’t know who the new coach will be, it makes sense to hang on to the redshirt now. Had he led us down to a win in OT (or regulation), I think he’d be the starter the rest of the year, which would have included a bowl game. But now, the juice probably isn’t worth the squeeze.

I think he’s better than Max and should have been starting since the 2nd half of the UCLA game. I think we’d be 6-4 right now. Maybe even 7-3. But at this point, the extra year is probably more valuable than whatever playing time he might get from here on out.

I’d prefer he not ever mention any of this honestly… Not a good look for anyone involved…

It’s more likely that his dad asked for him to play to get film so he can transfer.

This site would just have the Nuss family run the program. This program is a lost cause at this point.

And this is exactly why 0 is not going to be here anymore. You do what you can to win games, especially against Alabama.

So, you blow that game and make a big deal about Nuss playing next game and blow the Arkansas game since you refuse to take him out.

I mean, you are already fricking fired, why not go out with a win against Saban before tanking the rest of the season (which you may do anyway).

Thanks Alleva, this shows what you know. Aranda and Ensminger held this program together and Brady put them over the top.

.

Well, Doug is the QB coach in Dallas and was an OC at several P5 schools. He would probably do a better job than the clowns running it now. Not a high bar to clear.

You get bad qb play when your season goal is to redshirt the back up.

By the way, after all that redshirting drama, how did he do?

Before you answer, auburn put up 38 and ole miss 52 against these guys.

O'Dowd is going to be the board's favorite QB even if he never takes a snap

Brennan rappels into Tiger stadium and rides to midfield atop a white palomino stallion at halftime of TAMU, tosses 4 second half scores and leads the Tigers to victory bringing to fruition the continuation of O’s .500 streak
