Morning softball
Baseball vs Auburn across the street is starting 3 hours early to beat the weather, so we should hear them soon.
Heavener starts in the circle today.

Top 1st
Coffey- line drive to 3B
Lassiter- hard grounded to SS who threw it in dirt. Ruled an error
Edwards- BB
Bergeron- K looking (scoreboard had count wrong)
Redoutey- line drive to 1B who dropped it in foul territory, but she didn't run at first and was barely thrown out.... my goodness
Hit the ball really hard that inning

If she actually runs hard on the line drive to first she easily beats the toss, but she had to spectate before actually running.

It's still an option for high school too. I know the SEC talked about it, but the coaches didn't really want it.

They discuss it every year and just haven’t. They absolutely should have it given the rules that apply to the runner headed to 1B and the safety issue.

Yeah it's one of the few changes they want to make in diamond sports that I can fully get behind. I can't think of one negative of having it.
