Let’s talk about Evans. Do y’all think he sticks as the G3 starter?
I feel like Jay will continue to use him in multiple roles.
nah, I think he's gonna be the game 3 starter from here on out.

I think you could see him out of the pen to finish games off if LSU wins game 1 of a series and has a small lead late in game 2s.

Multiple. Johnson is not going to let 2-3 run lead in game 2 go away after Eyanson gives him 7 and Cowan went 2-3 inning the night before.

Cowan gets used first. One of the games plays out that we don’t get that late lead or ones we blow out then Evans starts game 3.

We did it in 2008 when Bradford was our best pitcher until Coleman came on late because our staff was weak and it’s done much more often in modern college baseball.

Man it’d be nice to have a team that can hit like this

You mean a team that puts up 12 runs in the rubber match and has scored 136 runs in conference play to 133 for Tennessee without the benefit of a bandbox home field?

Great game! Glad to see the bats were on fire. Was able to watch the first 4 innings. We looked really good in this one. Keep up the momentum!

How many homeruns did the second leading hr team in the sec have this weekend? 1? Their park inflates alot of their numbers. They can hit but they aren't this powerhouse long ball team every year that they put out there.

I said this Friday but all The LSU fans insisted that they were good first scoring 6 unearned runs on Friday night. LSU is a good team, they just not Tennessee good anymore. Vitello is looking to extend his h-2-h to 13-5 since 2018 with a win today.

For clarity's sake, he did not actually call himself an Aggie, we just all assumed anyone who would proudly tell you he was called cumass is likely an Aggie

They were hitting worse than us coming in

They’re a good team but just like LSU, after 2 good starters and 2 bullpen guys, they have nothing. Hard to win like that in tourney format

LSU desperately needs to find another trusted arm in the pen.

So to those debating how Evans will be used (closer v Sunday starter), you were both kind of right. CJJ talking about it post series win tonight.
