Also I understand your point that playing a huge OOC is essential but it’s completely nullified by calling it the opener

I mean I figured nobody would really get it, but that's kind of the point. Why else would I specify southern?

Every day this board gets dumber. Dunno how that’s possible.

Exactly, like FSU in 2022, or UCLA the year before

Say what?

We did open against Ga. Southern and blew them away like 50 something to 3, then we played Texas.

But, even the Ga. Southern game, I knew this offense was different... it was awesome to watch, then Texas was everything you said it was to launch us to our Natty.

Is that why UCLA skull fricked us? Or is because our coaching staff does a horrible job with off season preparation? I like Kelly but the excuse is played out when you’re down 45-17 in the opener, your opponent’s first game too.

I like Kelly but the slow starts are bullshite. We’d have beaten ole miss if we could even form tackle

RPO to Chase on the first score, the motion screen to Terrance is when I knew they were cooking.

Joe Brady was in his bag

The "Honey Badger" owned that game. Glad I was able to witness the beatdown of the Ducks.

In conclusion, if you think LSU should start the game with fricking Georgia Southern

So, we could start the game with Georgia Southern, but then finish the game with a better team? Would the switch happen at the half? The logistics of this idea seem tricky...

We've lost 4 season openers in a row.

ETA: and will probably be 5 in a row after next year.

Downvote #100.

All that effort in the OP and it wasn’t even the season opener.

The 2002 road loss? Interesting opinion, you have.
