This Baseball Team may look pretty solid on paper.

Getting much more excited than I anticipated a month and a half ago.

I know Hunt Palmer made the comment that this time last year he thought our pitching would be fine.

I'd say we definitely have that in the right direction with a few tweeners leaving and replacing them with players with production.

This team definitely looks much better in position and bench standpoint than last year

I’ll feel a lot better about the lineup if Jones is in it.

The pitching staff has options….but like last year we will need to see it in SEC play to really know what we have.

Unless you are returning 2 full time starters you are always going to have this

Crazy thing is last year I felt like we were returning two proven starters with Hurd and Holman.

They were one half inning (with a questionable coaching decision) away from hosting a Super.

We’re going to be in the mix every year for the foreseeable future.

I mean, our schedule to start the year was so freaking hard that it made it hard to gel as a team. It's hard to play with confidence when you're losing games to start sec play and it's hard to win when you don't play with confidence...

Once we had a break in the schedule we won games and gained confidence and gelled as a team.
After we gelled as a team we were good enough to beat those teams we lost to in the beginning of conference play.

We can pass judgement half way thru the SEC schedule.....no sooner.

They should have a good squad! Pulling for the Tigers, always.

On paper top 5 team . JJ needs to show his chops this year from beginning to end. I’m a believer in him but a legit argument can be made …….
