Vols dropped the series to UK, so Tennessee and LSU are tied for 3rd place at 12-6 heading into next weekends Top10 showdown

Should be a pretty electric series at the box between the last 2 national champions

Standings
1 Texas 16-2
2 Arkansas 13-5
3 LSU 12-6
3 Tennessee 12-6
5 Vanderbilt 11-7
6 Georgia 10-8
6 Ole Miss 10-8
6 Oklahoma 10-8
9 Alabama 9-9
9 Auburn 9-9
11 Texas A&M 8-10
11 Kentucky 8-10
13 Florida 6-12
13 Mississippi State 6-12
15 South Carolina 4-14
16 Missouri 0-18

While most people consider Texas/Arkansas/LSU/Tennesee as the Top 4 teams the league right now, an Interesting thing on current RPI…

Georgia, Vanderbilt and Auburn are currently in the Top4 for National RPI.

RPI rankings

I'm starting to think Mizzou might not be very good.

They truly may be the worst SEC team I’ve ever seen. I keep thinking eventually the law of averages will win out and they will win a couple games but I really don’t know. They’re batting .220 as a team in SEC play and have a team ERA of over 13.

One thing I noticed is their complete lack of leadership on the team. I’d be very concerned if I was them. Doubtful to make it out of a regional.

Lol exactly

They clearly don't have any leaders and they just don't have "it"

They're now all betas and they'll be lucky to get out of a regional

If LSU could somehow get 20 wins, it will take 8-4, they’d be a shoe in for a national seed.

Has an SEC team ever gone winless in SEC play in baseball? 0-30 might be doable for them.

I went back and looked the past 30-40 years and the worst I can find is a team winning 4 conference games.

We don’t really know. The fans most likely never know. There are many different kinds of leaders as well.

Exactly, So how would an LSU fan know who Tenn leaders are?

What makes you think they will even make a regional? They are 13-26, 0-18.

It was a joke. I do not know nor do I care who our leaders are on the team. Hell Paul on the bench may be the one getting the team pumped for all I care lol. It was a play on the dumb comments we get on the board and have fun with.

Looks like Paul Maneri’s South Carolina team is struggling. I wonder what the general consensus is on him in South Carolina right now?

If season ended today LSU gets a Top 8 seed. Just gotta finish Top 4 in SEC to get one IMO. A 5th from the league is certainly possible as well depending on how things go.

Guidry is the closest and he doesn't even play.
