After Eyanson you didn’t burn anybody of importance. Tenn has burnt their top 4 arms and LSU has Cowan and Evans still available 100%. LSU needs to get 2 innings out of Ware without him losing the game and hit Tenn’s freshman pitchers tomorrow. LSU is in great shape to get 2/3.

I would love for our bats to just come out and rake from start to finish. It’s been a while since we had a complete game where we just strung hits together and scored big.

I’m pretty confident we’ll hit tomorrow.

Tenn has given up 8, 8, & 17 runs the last 3 SEC weekends on Sunday. They burnt their guy in Nate Snead in the loss on Friday night with 47 pitches thrown. Loy is their next “guy” out of the pen and he threw 29 tonight.

if there is a game for out bats to come alive in this series it’s tomorrow.

Doyle, Phillips Lou and Snead have been their top Arms.

They have 1 pitcher left with a sub 6 ERA in SEC play and they can probably pitch Tanner franklin again.

And that one pitcher below 6 only has 18 IP in 6 SEC starts, so he’s not likely to go deep into the game. The 4 available arms with more than 2 IP in SEC play have given up 36 runs in 51.1 IP in conference. Cowan and Evans are a clear advantage for LSU tomorrow.

IF everything breaks perfect and you can go with Evans and Cowan basically the entire way. Otherwise, who you trotting out? Our Pen gave up 7 runs in order to get 7 outs. Nobody can pitch from the pen without walking/hitting someone except those two.

Also, you are beyond delirious if you think we are close to the clutch hitting, or just hitting in general as 2023. Can we win this game today? Of course. But, this team appears to be severely flawed offensively and relief pitching wise. You might can get away with one of those, but not both.

We need to come out swinging. Today depends on our bats.

Whoever they pitch will look like a Golden Spikes candidate unless something changes with the offense.

And we may still only score 1.

Apart from one inning against the backend of the bullpen, Tennessee has 6 runs in 2 games. Their offense was struggling coming in as well. LSU absolutely has the upper hand with the pitchers they available. That doesn’t mean they will win, but they are set up well.

Some of y’all try way too hard to compare current games/teams to former games/teams…

Tennessee has thrown 2 absolute elite starters and people act like we struggle against anyone off the bus.
