Tonight’s game is a great example of why you have to attempt to hit the ball on the ground

Jay needs to emphasize this daily and Today’s game is a great example of it. Hit the ball on the ground and good things can happen. We never get to the Bear at bat if Frey and Brown don’t get it started by making the fielder make a play on the ground ball.

Because 3rd baseman only makes those plays 98.5% of the time. LSU caught a break.

I'm sure JJ will remind Jones that hitting balls on the ground and hoping Tennessee boots them is much better than hitting one 450+ to dead center.

If the ball finds a hole. Not easy to do. If sometimes results in double plays too.
