Tulane fans are the equivalent to that 2017 UCF fan base.

They think they are way better than they actually are. They are going to be annoying for about a year and then get destroyed in a bowl game next year. Then, they will dissappear, and we won't have to hear their annoying fans again for another 30 years.

What a stupid thread.
It was a fun game and fun season for Tulane. Let them have their fun, they should.

It’s the best year they ever had basically and still they lost to southern miss. They should be happy though. Other than that bad loss they had a good year

C'mon, man
Let them have their moment. Likely the biggest win for that program's history, all things considered.

I happy for Tulane. It’s not like they are a rival to us. They had a damn good football team this year.

Tulane Fans:
eta: But still, congrats to their program. A huge win taking down a Top 10 USC Team and Heisman winning QB.

Winning the Cotton Bowl is a big deal for almost any program.
Hell, I remember thinking I was seeing a once in a generation football game when LSU beat Illinois in the Sugar Bowl in 2001. That was our first Sugar Bowl win since 1968.

Other than just purely tongue and cheek I haven't heard a peep like that from Tulane fans. I don't get shitting on Tulane they did more than UCF did and it has been fun to watch them win.

If we’re comparing 2017 UCF to another team then it needs to be 2003 USC lol.

I enjoyed seeing little brother beat up on west coast darling USC.

Tulane won a game they weren’t supposed to. They aren’t claiming to be the national champs. Let’s pump the breaks there. Hell they beat the big 12 champs and the 2nd ranked pac 12 team with the heisman winner in the same year. That’s a huge accomplishment for their program

Weird, because the two diehard TU fans I know thought they would not last the whole game because of depth, and are very happy with the season. Not delusional, don't think they could beat LSU and say TU will suck next year, anyway!

Quick question : Where do you live?
Because I work Uptown about 4 blocks from Tulane’s campus. Been out and about today, even on the campus twice today. Literally not one Tulane fan has acted how you just described.

As a graduate of both schools (Tulane undergrad and LSU post), kindly frick off. This has easily been the most significant season in Tulane history and yesterday was absolutely the biggest win in program history. I think fans can bask in it for a bit.

So where do you live?
Where are all these Tulane fans you speak of?

I’m glad LSU won. I don’t really care about Tulane winning other than the fact USC lost.

Tulane had a great year, topped off by a magical finish to beat USC.
They're not like UCF, which put up a National Championship banner in their stadium, which was absurd.
UCF deserves our ridicule, Tulane doesn't.
