Problem is teams like Arkansas pile on points with their distance runners, with 5,6,7 in the getting as many points as possible, that how they continue to win championship meet

That is like 2000s Arkansas. Arkansas is much more well rounded than they used to be and surprisingly not as distance heavy as they used to be.

They do beat LSU at the SEC’s with that strategy though.

They will finish down in the pack. Nobody but a few on here really care about T&F. Shaver is the king at preseason / in season rankings. His post season is where his teams fold. Boo isn’t here to save his arse.

Fr. John Oguchukwu was a priest in the Diocese of Biloxi. When people asked how to pronounce his name, he would answer "John".

The LSU girls have as good of a shot as anyone no doubt. I think Arkansas girls are their biggest threats. Only concern is how reliable Arkansas’ points are in the 400m hurdles, 400m, and 4x400. I feel like there’s a lot more parity in LSU’s strong events. Still, this is their best shot in a long time

I hope Michaela Rose's contribution encourages more investment in mid/long distance running. You dont have to go all out like byu/nau but throwing enough money to make sure you have one or two strong contenders that can mix it up with the top ten in the country isnt a bad thing.

Get a bad start in the sprints and you get no points. Get a bad start in the longer distances and you can make up for the bad start. Bites us in the arse every yr.

Really need Squirrel and the 4x400m men to step up in post season action. Claudio just threw the #1 discus throw and Rex is going to pop off at Nationals.

If women can run a solid time without a wind aided meet, we can see them throw down in regionals. We have at least 3 women capable of winning their events.
