We are good enough to make Omaha

But… so is 5-6 other SEC teams

We have 4 pitchers and haven’t hit the ball in 3 weeks. Unless something changes, I can’t see us getting there

Stop…let the season play out. Just have to play hot at the right time

We're 2nd in team ERA and 5th in batting average, in the best baseball conference in America.

Have y’all not learned that LSU ramps it up in the post season? The shite show of a team last year almost made it out of North Carolina

Get out of here with facts. Every other team in America is great other than us.

This needs to be reposted a thousand times

And we'll still be #2 in team ERA and 5th in batting average, in the best baseball conference in America.
Some of you are melting way too much about this.

for the first time this year I'm gonna have to agree with you. I suppose we could get lucky and make Omaha...but we ain't doing anything there unless something drastic changes in hitting and relief pitching

give us all the stats you want
my own eyes tell me we have a total of 4 dependable pictures...ONLY 4.
my own eyes tell me we can't hit consistently against SEC pitching the llast 3 or 4 weeks.
Hitting we might could turn around, but pitching, I just can't see where that would come from outside the 4.

That’s better than 98 percent of college baseball

Well maybe your eyes are the problem.

It's all about when you get hot. That's all that matters.

People will downvote you to hell, but the Sunday starter and pen situation looked this bad in 2023 up until Mother’s Day weekend. Remember State’s 9 run comeback win?
This team absolutely has the talent. They just have to come together, both pitching and the bats. It’s going to take a lot better play than what we see at the moment, but we also saw last year’s team flip a switch late and make a real run at Omaha, so it can happen.

ok, we will be playing teams with less.
How many dependable pitchers from Tennessee have you seen this weekend?
And yes, they have pitches their best pitchers.
most teams at best have 2 solids starters and 1-2 bullpen arms.
We have 4 guys who can give us 4-7 innings each.
that’s way more coverage than the average team which is why the numbers are what we are.
We have

I tried to be on this train for awhile, but if you take out the only 4 pitchers on this staff that have a general knowledge of the location of homeplate, 2nd turns into 14th surprisingly fast...
And out of the last 90 innings (10 games), this offense has been virtually non-existsnt in 84 of them...
When is it okay to be upset at the output from a team that hasn't hit or pitched well in 93% of its last 90 innings played?

Again, we have literally seen pitchers emerge either just before or in the postseason both of the last two years. Especially two years ago. Have you forgotten this? There’s no guarantee it will happen again; but speaking in certainties is stupid when we’ve seen it.

So if you take away our 4 best pitchers and let everyone else keep theirs, we'll suck?
It seems like many here believe that everyone else has 7 dependable pitchers and that simply is not the case.

Folks can be upset at anything they want, most of this has been emotional melting not rooted in fact though.
