What happened to Jim Leonhard ?

Worked out pretty good for us last time we took a DC from Wisconsin. He was the It coach just a couple years ago. And he’s available right now.

He’ll be hired by someone this cycle, where remains to be seen.

It’s pretty well known that he nor his family want to leave the Midwest.

I would not get your hopes up on this one.
Jimmy did spend the year recovering from surgery (his Analyst position didn't require much travel to Champaign) + he and his wife are still very tied into the Madison area and love being close to immediate and extended family. Money is not going to be the motivation for him to leave - he's had countless opportunities to do so. Without any offense, have a hard time imagining a personal cultural fit for the Leonhard family in Baton Rouge. Think many believe his wife could get onboard with an NFL job, so DC for the Packers is one to watch (again).

His protege Bobby April IIi would be the better choice

Well, I certainly don't need to point out the obvious differences. Like I said, wouldn't get your hopes up on Leonhard. Opportunities to leave Wisconsin have been plentiful.

Maybe to Mizzou if their DC were to leave?
