What is Jayden’s 40 time? He’s always the fastest guy on the field

No one can catch him. He runs past SEC DBs when he gets into the open field. His acceleration and ability to change direction at full speed is ridiculous. He can make every throw. And, now he’s reading defenses, going through progressions, picking teams apart.
But, do we know his 40 time? He’s got to be in the 4.4s, yes?

He reminds me in a way of Matt Jones from Arkansas a few years back. Jones really didn’t look to be THAT fast, but he would always outrun opposing DBs. Then, he runs something like a 4.28 40 at the combine, or something like that.
Not saying Daniels will necessarily run that at the combine or a pro day, but he is deceptively fast with his long stride.

I think it’s going to turn some heads.
his ability to consistently beat guys to the edge and split defenders in the open field as good as any player i’ve ever seen at any position.

Honestly, he’s like a taller Mike Vick. Might not have the cannon Vick had, but the speed is similar.

The new thing is gps mph , he has to be over 21 mph many times this season . Which is top tier speed .

If you watch the angles that defensive players take on him when he comes around the edge, he makes them look stupid every time. Which I think tells you something.. because you know these guys are game planning for Daniels’ running game and the coaches have to be hammering them to watch their angles in film review.
The craziest part to me is how effortless he makes it look.
He did say in the postgame presser that he was running out of gas on the 85yd TD. He said he knew he had to score, though, because otherwise he would hear about it all week from his teammates.

That was such an impressive run. He accelerated past defenders at the LOS and then sped past defenders downfield and kept on passing them all the way. Acceleration AND breakaway speed sustained over 85 yards from a QB. That’s WR type skills in the open field. Crazy.

You watch him make runs like he did against Florida, and he threads 2 defenders that are deeper than he is, and not only does he pass them, they can’t lay a hand on him!

I don’t know what you mean by this. Why are “race relations” being brought into a conversation about someone’s speed?
If I need to explain it better:
Some guys just look fast. Trindon Holliday, amongst others, was like a blur when they ran. Others, having very long legs, and/or a very long stride, often don’t look as fast as they are in reality. Thus the expression, “deceptively fast.”

The way he spilt the safeties downfield on the 85 yard run was just insane. It looked like someone hit the Speed Boost button on the game controller. You know those cats aren’t slow and he just smoked them.

It's a joke about how analysts only refer to white guys as "deceptively fast"
