He played like shite for most of the game. Nuss admitted so himself. It's not "bashing". It's just being honest.

Yeah you need to go back and re watch the game. #1 team in the country in sacks and our OL didn’t give one up.

and it shows more times than not. However, I do think as he continues to get experience, he will be a very good center.

They held the team with the most sacks to zero sacks lol. They played excellent. Run blocking needs to improve of course. But they kept Garrett upright.

I think the most telling thing was OM was getting a first down unless Dart got hit. LSU wasn’t getting first down and nuss stayed upright.
I felt like he had plenty of time back there all night. He was either impatient or our WR really struggled getting open

We have to better with our playcalling in the run game
Herman nailed it.

this was a thing as well. I was very impressed with the DB's of OM. I was told that they were very average, but they were very aggressive last night.....Nuss hasn't had a problem getting rid of the ball quickly in the past.

50+ passing attempts
ZERO sacks
ZERO sacks

We have not been a good run blocking team the last 3 years and we were going up a stout Dline of Ole Miss
Maybe the OL is strong af, but could stand to be quicker. Too late for that now, so coaches need to figure out a run-blocking scheme for these fellas in particular.

No sacks, very few penalties . Pass blocking good, run blocking not so good.

Nolen got some inside pressure a few times but he’s a stud DT and the interior is the weakest part of our OL. Even so, it’s not like he was in Nussmeier’s face constantly.
The sack numbers speak for themselves. Our OL has been elite in pass protection.

Blocked edges well, interior got blown up on some plays. Run game is awful but I think this is mainly a scheme problem. Anyone can predict when and where the run is going to happen. If I can predict it I know the defense can. You see how Kiffin runs his offense? There's a such thing as misdirections like he did to us in the 4th quarter which is why Dart got 2 big runs. Whoever is responsible for scheming our run game they're terrible at it.

Nuss was under pressure all night
you'd be wrong. 51 passes, no sacks. Ole Miss D-line is not bad.
O-line pass blocking is great. Run blocking is not great at all.
Meanwhile, our D-line is supposed to be a weakness, and we dropped dart 6 times.

DJ Chester is a problem,
The rest of the OL was fine
But Nuss is reacting to ghost pressure at times due to Chester i believe

Not only zero sacks, only 3 QB hits
Nuss was seeing ghosts last night, making pressure when there was none.

Not only did they allow 0 sacks (which often has just as much to do with the QB as the OL) but for most of the night they gave Nuss a ton of time and a very clean pocket. 0 sacks in a game where you're looking to get the ball out quick every time is one thing - this was 0 sacks in a game where damn near every throw was to the intermediate or deep part of the field on a long-developing route.
Honestly, hats off to both the OL and to Nuss for forcing Ole Miss to get stops the hard way. I know that a lot of people have been pointing to Nuss's completion percentage as a point of criticism from this game, but, while he certainly wasn't throwing with pinpoint accuracy, when you account for everything, he actually had a fairly strong performance outside of the INTs.
