Anyone know what he's up to now? Didn't he quit baseball after his junior year to go to med school?

Knew he was a Dr. but didn't know what kind. Like a Boss though. He was a great pitcher!

Nice video but man, those uniforms were terrible

Defining moment? He had bigger ones than that.

I played ball with Jason when we were 13. He played first base. I never saw him being a great player back then, but he must hae really blossomed in HS. He used to get migraines so bad he would miss games. I used to love watching him at LSU though.

We graduated from Catholic together. He beat me out for the pitcher spot. At the time he didn't throw that hard, he just had pinpoint accuracy and that lefty junk. Nice enough dude.
BTW. 9 hits and 6 runs. I remember those days.

Determann's defining moment
Though his reaction is classic in that video...I'll always remember the first game of the A&M super regional when Nate Bumstead got run off the mound in the first inning after giving up 5 runs. Everyone at the Box thought we were in trouble. Determann came in and gave 6 solid innings to keep LSU in the game and they came back in the 8th to win.
The next day Lane Mestepey closed it out with a complete game, shut out.
