I see dish is really popular. Any suggestions?

Dish tailgate package if you aren’t worried about price. Hands down the best option

All you need is a Smart TV with a streaming service hooked up to hotspot on phone

We’ve always used the Dish tailgater.
Quick easy setup, not complicated at all. Basically power the antenna and receiver and you’re up and running. One of us has to sign up for Dish plan every year tho for 4 months ~$100/mo with sports package) it’s pay-as-you-go, just cancel at the end of season and restart next season. Actually you don’t even have to cancel, just don’t pay the next bill and it stops automatically.
Can’t remember what the initial equipment costs were (automatic enclosed satellite dish and receiver which comes together), maybe $400 or so if memory serves but it’s lasted well over 10 years . Satellite is automatic, no pointing a dish, it does it itself.
We never have any issues with it. The only time there’s even some work is the first time of the year we crank it back up, sometimes the receiver has to update and a quick call to Dish to resend the signal. We do that the week before the first game just to make sure everything’s up and running Game1

We used the Dish tailgater but if you don’t have that, just bring an antenna. You’ll at least be able to get the games on abc, CBS and NBC.
Or if you have a cable subscription, watch it on your phone and mirror it to your tv. I always plugged my phone into the USB port on the back of the tv to keep my phone charged. (You’d be using your data plan though).

I prefer to keep my setup simple….I use a tv with a $9 set of rabbit ears that I got at Lowes. Can pick up about 20 or so digital channels in HD from lsu campus. I typically can watch a few different games throughout the day including the CBS 2:30 game.
I find myself too distracted around the tailgate to intently watch a game….I just want some sports on, so that satisfies me without being overly complicated to setup and take down.
I always get a kick out of the number of satellite dishes that get smashed to bits on the first game when folks can’t get them to work!

I use a phone and cast to TV.

I have never been able to get CBS with HD antenna. Plenty of threads over the years on here and pretty much nobody has success getting CBS with the HD antenna while on campus

Luckily, I leech off a WiFi that has guest access across the street from my tailgate. One of us will roll in at 6 to grab the spot and voila. We’ve been doing it for years. Before they built this spot, we used a regular digital antenna.

If you have smart phone w/ unlimited data and a subscription service ( I have Hulu) you need this and a HDMI cable to connect to TV. You can also charge phone at same time with whatever is powering your TV.

WE used it last year and struggled with getting reception, any tips? We tailgate out on the old front 9. Some days it was perfect and other days it was terrible.

When campus get packed, does your signal struggle to provide a consistent stream/picture? I worry about this so still use DIRECTV dish.

Easiest, but not the most reliable on some parts of campus

You never have cell issues trying to stream?
