What has happened?

Exactly, and then why don’t we have a manager that can manage the fricking bullpen.

the bat is not making sufficient contact with the ball to generate enough propulsive force such that the likelihood of a hit is increased

Better question, why can’t we pitch?

Yall need to get used to it for a few weeks. We are facing 3 of the best pitching teams in the country this weekend, next weekend, and the following

Lots of players are swinging to hit a homerun. This team isn’t constructed to have that approach. Just about every hitter is trying to pull the ball. Not many balls being hit the other way.

Won't you be the hitting coach

I don’t understand Jay’s pitching decisions once we cut the lead to one run and got their starter out the game. We still had Evans and Cowan available. Bring in one of them and start the other pitcher tomorrow. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed with the way we swinging the bats even with both Cowan and Evans going tomorrow. I just do t get it

I disagree with it but it’s quite easy to understand. He’s saving them for tomorrow because we won game one. If we would’ve lost game one I’m almost certain he would’ve put them in.

When will Johnson have one of the top three staffs? Isn't that what he's paid to do?

Facing better pitching. I’m afraid we’re showing our true colors and just aren’t what we thought at the plate. Desperately hope I’m wrong

Not sure what happened in the midweek though.
