The most impressive thing on Monday night was Hellmer’s ball movement. Since changing his arm motion, he would have been a great closer. He may earn some $ in MLB in his future. Too bad he changed his motion recently.

he may sign a free agent deal with some team but that's about it

I was wondering how many more games we could have won if he had pitched like that earlier in the season. Might have hosted. I wish him the world. Seems like a great young man.

Wouldn’t surprise me is he was drafted somewhere in the late top 10 rounds. His signing bonus would be maybe 10k which will help save pool money for a first rounder or second rounder who’s go a big number.
The draft isn’t always who’s the very best or most potential. Sign ability and what signing bonus your slot is verses leverage.

Not many more considering he was never given any mound time to prove he could do it.

Was almost Louis Coleman 2.0.
Hope he makes it at the next level. Great to see someone who flubbed the start of his career at 3B finish with a dominant performance on the mound.
I heard him say it in the post-game interview, will always be a Tiger.

ERA of 2.31 this year. Heck of a job by him
Sign him and see how his ball plays in the minors

He was like Matty Ott out there lol. Wish we could have seen more of what he could do throughout the season.

His improvement was very noticeable and commendable.
