He is correct. Of course he is omitting the fact that Bama cheated at recruiting during his entire tenure there and he retired ironically just as the field became somewhat even among the big money schools.

He gets a pass due to his age. If this would have happened around 20 years ago though, no way Bama/Saban dominates like they did.

The hypocrisy of Saban being the one talking about sanctity and competitive fairness in college sports, particularly football is hilarious.
The guy is one of the dirtiest coaches out there, and broke tons of rules and bent the rest of them, and honestly is the one that led it to this, then when he can't cheat as an advantage over everyone else, tucks his tail and runs, claiming the sport and players have changed.
I wish a congressman would turn it around and say, "But didn't the lack of AC magically get players back their eligibility for you?" Didn't the NCAA's rules not get enforced there?
