No but rarely do you see a lead off double followed by 3 Ks watching strikes and swinging at balls.

I'm saying. Been awhile since I've been this frustrated with the baseball team. Timely hitting is not a fruit that grows in their garden.

Really? Go rewind damn near the whole season. Hell, Milazzo and others got “hot” to make the run.
This is about hitting for average S in SINGLES.
But let’s keep hitting solo HRs and sticking out like shite because we can hit for shite when it counts. You have to be able to have Tre Morgan type players throughout your line-up. LSU has 2 and one is a freshman.
In simple terms you need people on base to hit a 3-r HR. Lazy are in the dugout from swinging at pitches 2’ off the fricking plate because they have ZERO PLATE DISCIPLINE

You can’t answer the question why there are so many solo HRs? Why Ks are so high? Lack of plate discipline. Tre Morgan, Crews, Beloso, Dugas, White all had other coaches

Everyone is free to critique the coaches and players, just don’t pile on when they are underperforming and paint it to be a systemic problem.
