Worth it?

Isn’t it like a 100k buyin once you’re invited?

$250k annual spend required, $2500/year annual fee.
I had a boss who was obsessed with getting one. Once he got it, he said it was basically a platinum card as the benefits of the Centurion just weren't things he would use.

I'll never get an invite, and wouldn't pay the initiation and annual fees anyway. Which I've heard have gone up to 10k initiation and 5k annual. I don't see how it could be worth that.

Personally, no. I'll never achieve $250K in personal spend per year in my life. Think I'm at about $65-75K a year now between my Platinum and Gold. That's running everything under the sun through them except mortgage.
All the corporate executive cards I've dealt with have been basic business green American Express or Platinum cards.
Unless you're a marketing company or something in similar field, the business version isn't very common anymore at the corporate level.
Small businesses might run their payroll with it to make it easier to achieve the $250K spend?

Nope
I've heard movie stars and top country music singers might have one. Rock Stars are fading away.

The only Amex I would consider right now in my life is the blue cash line... I just really don't want any new pulls on my credit incase we jump on a house but maybe later.

Delta Sky Miles Amex Reserve, check it out.
If you travel a lot and already spend a good amount on cc anyhow, you won't regret it.

Benefits are not much better than the $600 annual fee cards. At least not 4500 dollars per year better plus 10k initial. So not worth it.

Damn Russ, you sly bastard.

You get a dedicated concierge and travel agency department with it with more detailed services like someone meeting you in an airport terminal to get you to your next flight/take you to the Centurion lounge. I don't think there are many more perks.
Its more of a statement of success than anything, and also if you need a service just shy of a personal assistant it may be worth it. If I travelled the world on business I would want it (assuming I spent enough). It is an additional layer of security if I am ever in need.

Not worth it unless you have "frick you" money and want the ability to call your personal concierge and ask them to do things for you that would otherwise be nearly impossible. shite like this : I know a guy who was at a casino and wanted a VIP table in one of their clubs. He was told there were no tables available. He called his Centurion concierge and said he not only wanted a table, but the whole VIP section. He got a call from the casino 20 minutes later and they informed him that the entire VIP section was ready and waiting for him and his guests. When you call them and make a request like that you don't even ask how much it will cost.

Your statement is exactly right. A person who has this card wants close and personal VIP treatment when needed. They don't give a hoot about getting the most bang for the buck gift card rewards.
As I said before, it is a statement. If you are a retailer and see that card, you immediately know that not only does the guy make bank, but he/she also has proven
to spend a LOT of money. Retailers/restaurants/etc will cater to whatever when they get a phone call from Centurion card concierge.

Was offered a tour of the kitchen and upstairs/wine room at R’evolution after paying for dinner with black card…. Some of the benefits are not tangible but restaurants pay attention to it.

I only know one person who has one. He's a patent lawyer who seems to never lose a case either before a judge or with a jury.

Suckers play.
At the end of the day a 2% cash back no fee card is hard to beat. Wells Fargo and several others have such cards.
None of the other reward cards give you that cash value. Never are the hotel credits or airplane points worth 2% of the spend if you take time to compare the cost you can buy the room or the seat for versus the point cost.
