Best Bank for Small Business

Considering switching to a local bank for more personal service. I've been through several relationship bankers, VP's, and private client bankers at a national bank. It seems these guys move around...
It takes way too long to get anything done, there are constant hoops to jump through, getting new employees up to speed etc
It's definitely hindering the growth of my business.
Looking for someone Baton Rouge to Houston who is a small business friendly bank. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I would recommend Iberia Bank. I run a medium sized business in BR and they take care of us. I actually switched from Regions to follow my business banker because we have a good relationship. I like Iberia because my banker can make decisions up to a larger threshold, and any decisions over his head are made down the road in Lafayette. There aren't as many layers to go through and I don't feel like we are just a number in a file.
I believe Iberia has locations from Florida to Texas.

I should clarify, I said BR to Houston because I'm in between the 2 quite a bit, I was hoping to have someone between those 2 spots so if we need to meet in person etc. They could have 1 branch but if I need to go in person to open account, I don't want it in Maine

I second Iberia Bank, and would give a shout out to Regions as well.

Interview the bank.
Ask them how many loans they have in their portfolio like the kind you need.
I will tell you that even if it is national bank.
You have to be careful with a small bank. They cannot financially take the risk of bigger banks. They may, for example, decide to completely exit the commercial building loan business to divert their limited capital to some other deals.
Iberia is a pretty good sized regional now. I hear good things about them. Capital One used to be good in ABL loans. Wells does not have branches in but has offices in Louisiana and they are very big in business loans.

I like dealing with Gulf Coast Bank from a business standpoint. I dont use them for personal banking, but think they do an excellent job in regards to business accounts.

Go to Hancock Whitney Bank. They cover your footprint, keep the good bankers for a long career, and give great service.
