Best credit card for sign up bonus plus most points per dollar spent

Is there a consensus go-to card out there? Amex platinum business appears to be offering 120,000 bonus points if you spend 15K in first three months. And that's great but it is $695 a year too. I have an expensive flight coming up and trying to figure out best way to knock the price down some by using "free" money from a bonus via credit card company. I pay it off every month regardless so interest isn't a factor here.
