Can you transfer Binance balance to Binance.US in the US?

I found out that I have money in my Binance account that I opened years ago. When I go to verify my account, USA is not an option in country of residence.
Am I screwed or is there a way to do this?

Transfer it to your wallet and if you want use Binance create a new Binance US account

Create a wallet of you don't have one, coinbase wallet etc
Get the address for you wallet for whatever asset, ex bitcoin and copy the address
Go to your old binance account and select the asset-> Takeout -> withdraw-> paste your wallet address and select the max amount -> withdraw

Don't use Binance.US when you move your funds. Use Coinbase if you want something relatively mainstream.
Binance.US will not let you withdraw funds there to your bank account. You essentially have to transfer to another wallet anyway.

I did this earlier this year and it was one of the biggest pains in the arse I've ever tolerated. Horrible process and they tried to tell me they couldn't confirm who I was so they couldn't give me my coins. Finally argued with them enough to where they transferred them. I quickly transferred them to coinbase after that.

Good luck. Mine are in Binance (not Binance.US) purgatory. Got them on the phone once and they wouldn’t get me logged back in. My account has since been disabled. Any suggestions?

Same happened to me. I had to create a Binance.us account first, then there are instructions when you log into that on what to do to transfer coins out of OG Binance. It was a rough process. Had to send them a video of me holding my drivers license explaining who I was and what I wanted to do, per the script they emailed me. Then they still weren’t willing to unlock my account so I could transfer. Went up two manager levels and they told me they likely wouldn’t be able to but would have a meeting, then the next day I tried to log in and it was unlocked, with no further communication from them. I also had to use a VPN. I fought with them for a few hours a day over a few days on it. Would send the video exactly as they dictated and they would reject it. Did that a few times, then that wasn’t good enough and they wanted more ID information, including my bank account number and crypto address. That’s where I drew the line and pushed back.

Pretty sure binance US was shut down for fraud and commingling user funds.

It appears you are right, guessing it's basically a shell at this point as they'll barely have any users on binance US, after they were hammered. Surprised they are still up and running. If they are asking you to send money to binance then it's probably a major red flag

Clearly states they no longer support deposits or withdraws in USD. Also they are blocked from operating in quite a few states now
binance support page that basically says you can't do anything in usd

I did it! I transferred TRX from binance to kraken and then was able to sell it on kraken.
That took a while but I do appreciate your help Jackie Chan!

It's been since they stopped allowing people in the US from accessing it. Not sure.
