Selling REIT shares

Own shares in a healthcare REIT which I may be interested in selling, at least a portion. Anyone with experience in REITs. Best handled thru a broker otr could I possibly sell myself thru a Schwab account? Any assistance appreciated.

Is it publicly traded or private? Very big difference.

Believe they are publicly traded. REIT is Healthpeak, formerly Physican Realty Trust

Call EQ Shareowner Services at 800-468-9716. Ask them if you can sell your shares directly through them. If not, ask if they can send you an updated shareholder statement and you can use that information to transfer the stock to another firm to sell it.
