I tried the free trial today and when I pulled up the subscriptions I was supposed to have, I know the list was missing some (mostly streaming platforms). I also noticed I wasn’t able to cancel some and could only remove them from the list.

Is this thing worth it? Is there anything better to use for canceling subscriptions?

My thought is if you need a service to help cancel subscriptions, you have a bigger problem.

You should be aware of your current recurring bills you are paying. When you don't want one, go there and cancel.

Use it for tracking spending not for the subscription cancellation

Your bank/card statements. It's free and you wont "miss" any subscriptions you have if you actually look at your bank/card statements over the last year. Just put in the work and cancel the things you dont use any more or arent important to you.

It's crazy we live in a world now people are using this type of service to cancel things they dont use. WAAAYYYY too many subscription services out there.

I have too many subscriptions, let me pay for this subscription service to track my subscriptions.

You can even download them to a csv/excel file and format them so they have the same headings in the same order. Then you can review for subscription services, charges you don't recognize pops out, then you can use this data to review & establish your own budget.

Why can't you cancel your own subscriptions? The shite people will pay money for, including a service that cancels subscriptions, is insane

Big dog it's been said plenty but just open your credit card statement and look at the transactions for the last 60-90 days. Cancel whatever you see.

This is probably also an eye-opening exercise as to how much random money you spend.

I probably wasn’t as clear as I should’ve been.

I can see all of the recurring things on my statement and I check it monthly.

My issue is I see so many nickel and dime items from Apple that add up but my wife and I don’t have that same amount of subscriptions on our phone with apps. When we look at the subs in our our Apple account it’s way less than what we see on the statement.

Is there a way to see what all Apple is taking?

Use a credit card that sends notifications on your phone app when something gets charged on that card.

Amex sends a notification on my lock screen for every charge with that card.

Capital One has a tracker that shows expected upcoming auto-pay charges based on the previous month's automatic charges.

Apple sends me an email with an itemized receipt for each charge

Do you have kids that have their own device or play games on your phone? Just thinking if it could be in-app purchases. Heard lots of stories of parents letting their young kid download free games, only to find out later that the kid spent a bunch of real money in that "free" game buying upgrades or to advance faster.

I started cancelling stuff I didn't use a while back, got overwhelmed by the shear volume, said frick it, called my bank and told them I lost my debit card. Everything cancelled at once.

I resubscribed to stuff I actually use as needed when/if it pops up. Pretty sure I've been getting sat radio in my car for free for over a year now.

I just started going back old school…printing CC statements and using a highlighter. I’ll do it for 5-6 months just to track the absurd amount of frivolous shite I spend money on.
