Looking to open a brokerage account as my new employer does not offer any type of 401K plan.

Would like to invest in some buy it / forget about mutual funds but would also like to dabble in some small trades of stock etc.

Which broker would you recommend?

Ive used all three. I like Fidelity's user interface the best.

Fidelity.

Admittedly I have never used the other ones. But I have never had an issue that would make me want to switch to be honest. It’s simple and easy to use and navigate

Can you purchase crypto on fidelity? TDA doesn’t let you, which is probably a good thing for me.

Fidelity platform hasn’t majorly changed in over 15 years. And it’s the best I’ve ever used. Does the job for my family.

I opened a Schwab account 3 months ago because AT told me to but I just have opening cash balance and haven’t explored. Apparently it’s a good one as well from posters with experience.

I’ve had both td and fidelity. I’ve moved everything to Fidelity. I get access to their fidelity only funds which I like. Td doesn’t have its own funds I don’t believe.

Same.

Vanguard has my IRAs and I use schwab for brokerage and solo 401k. Interface on Schwab is easier to navigate.

Someone mentioned vanguards low expense ratios. I would say that they have the most options of a variety mutual funds with low expense ratios (and were the ones to more or less pioneer that aspect). With that said, most of the major brokerages have similar low expense ratio funds for the more popular types of mutual funds(total market/s&p500/international market etc). My schwab total market fund has a lower expense ratio than my vanguard one.

Ive never used fidelirt but they seemed to be well liked as well.

I've used Fidelity, Etrade, Webull.

I like Etrade the most, and a lot better than Fidelity.

I have Fidelity and Vanguard. They both are fine.

Did have to call Vanguard today to fix an issue that I created. An American guy answered promptly, was great, and solved the problem.
