I have $10,000 to invest. I'm looking at the following ETFs:
VGT = Vangaurd's Information Technology ETF
VUG = Vanguard's Growth ETF
Any preference? Split it and invest in both? Or, focus on one ETF?

My anecdotal evidence:
Bought $40K of VUG in Dec 2019, another $13K in March 2020.
As of today my holdings are up 31%.
I can't speak for VGT, but I've been very happy with VUG.

I would be careful with VGT at an all time high. If you plan to hold for years then it’s fine, but you should be prepared for it to possibly not grow much more Or decrease for now.

I'm considering selling all my VGT and adding the $ to my existing MTUM holding which still has > 30% in tech. How much longer is this tech ride going to last?

I don't foresee it going anywhere. More so, I see it as the way of the future and that our exposure to the "tech market" is still very new. Just think about how different and more advanced we are now than 10-20 years ago.
Also, I think COVID has changed the way a portion of the world will work and function. Sure, many jobs will slowly revert back to their old procedures; however, some industries are forever changed.
