Hell, watching Hadjar's times, he may get Sainz too.

Sainz is protecting Albon by having him in DRS range.

Lando with a new stupid mistake every single week. He’s nowhere close to as dialed in as Piastri is, and McLaren would be wise to recognize it.

Hadjar should be P8, but great Williams teamwork.

Oscar is the Number 1, the world wanted it to be Lando but he doesn’t have the chest

It will be fun to watch Zak try and manage this...

Zak may not have to manage anything if Lando keeps making mistakes at a higher rate than Oscar.

I’m not sure Lando could have rebounded from the lap 1 incident the way Oscar did. Oscar just shut up and dialed in. Lando dwells on that stuff.

Oscar reminds me of Max. Just a machine

I think Red Bull didn’t have anything to lose by not giving the position back. Oscar was going to drive off into the distance once he got ahead. Might as well roll the dice and see if they call it in your favor.

Disagree. Max was the better driver and finished under the 5 second penalty.

Nice control from Oscar to go to the top of the championship.
Also now level with Lando with 5 grand prix wins.(though Piastri has a sprint win).
That will play in the head of Lando .
At the other end of the grid Doohan with a huge last lap pass on Bortoleto for 17th.frick yeah

Lando crying like a bitch post-race. He's tired of everyone saying they have the best car

The contact between Yuki and Pierre has been ruled a "Lap 1 incident," which is apparently a specific concept. Both teams called it a Lap 1 incident, so no one was calling for a penalty, but the FIA said:
quote:

"Both parties agreed that this was a lap one incident with no party wholly or predominantly to blame. Although we considered whether this was properly a lap one incident or really an incident between two cars on lap one."

All right, the TD F1 Championship results are in!

dg42.net/TDF1/race-results.php?race=5

Winner of the TD F1 Saudi Arabian GP is gatorhater08, with a crushing 12.8 point gap over P2! gatorhater08 won on the strength of getting six of the top 10 positions exactly correct.

The podium is filled out by theone in P2, and bikerack in P3.

Here's the championship table: dg42.net/TDF1/index.php?table=full

One more player has now scored points for the first time. gatorhater08 enters the championship table in style at P10 with a win in Saudi Arabia!

MikeD's four-race points scoring streak is now over. But Grassy1 is currently on a four-race points scoring streak, and has an opportunity to extend it in Miami.

sorantable is still leading the championship on the strength of two wins. But others are starting to catch up. I'm really liking the spread of points on the championship table after five races, although jefforize and the four guys who haven't scored yet might disagree.

The guy who went from 10 to 4 wouldn't have responded the same as the guy who just rode in P2 until P1 was given to him?

I like Piastri, but all he needed to do today was wait until he was given P1. No one really passed on track when it mattered.

Oscar may very well win this teammate battle, but people are acting like he is running away with this battle and he barely snuck ahead this round.

Competitive field.

One day I may predict the Williams correctly and might even score a point again
