How many teams have a long standing tradition of a 7th inning stretch song? Do we really need some chick to sing God Bless America on a Monday night in LA?

They always sing God Bless America on Opening Day or is this your first year of watching baseball?

I haven't been to all of them, but, I wouldn't think the Angles have a long tradition of singing God Bless America. I've sat through the Astros singing Deep in the heart of Texas.

I'm just looking for a survey from local fans.

They always do it on Opening Day. They shouldn't do it at all, it's not a traditional baseball song. It's not the national anthem either so I don't know why people stand, remove their caps, and put their hand over their hearts. You wouldn't do it for that Toby Keith song, so why God Bless America?

So people can feel good about themselves.

I agree with everything you said, btw.

It used to be really awesome when Ronan Tynan would sing it but the Yankees cut him because he hates the Jews.
