All you need to know about Shaduer… he’s never had to earn the starting position.

His dad has been his coach his entire life.
His work ethic probably sucks and I guarantee you his football IQ is basic because the offense has been made cookie cutter easy for him. He had the Heisman at WR at a HBCU and the big 12

Who would’ve beat him at the hbcu or Colorado?

How would we know? Deion told the Colorado QBs to pack their bags and said his son will start well before the season. He never had a backup that even challenged him

Deion was in coach all thru youth sports so it started well before high school.

Deion bought and paid for Travis Hunter so his son would have an easy target for his career. Don’t forget they also had another really good WR

Those QBs also sucked arse. Sanders is a good player, especially at the college level where there’s much less of a premium on arm strength. His ability to process the playbook can be legitimately questioned as Colorado runs a college style offense that doesn’t ask a ton of the qb, but his ability to process what they asked him to do can’t. He made very few mistakes in two seasons for the buffs

Well seeing as his dad determined what backups were on the team? None.

There has been a lot of successful NFL QBs that never had to earn their position and played in a basic offense before being drafted.
There is way more to his story than that.

Having his number retired is ridiculous but Shedeur is the third best QB in the history of CU behind Kordell and Hagan.
Detmer was one of my favorited college players ever but Shedeur was better.

Y’all are pathetic. Shaduer is still a legitimate nfl prospect. He came to a one win Colorado team, and turned them into a serviceable power 4 team. They’re still Colorado, unless Deion could recruit another legitimate prospect, shadeur was always their best option by a mile. Him dropping to the 5th round has y’all acting like he’s some absolute scrub. He was still one of the better quarterbacks in all of college football last year

A coach wanting a good WR for his QB? What an absurd idea

Blaming a player for having good teammates is absurd.
Joe Montanna had Jerry Rice
Tom Brady had Gronk
Peyton had Marvin Harrison
It's how things work, none of those QBs would have been as good if they didn't have outstanding players with them

He is not 5th round but no way should he have been 1st. He was pushed by his dad and media hype. They played no one in conference, he just ran around while 3 rushed and dropped 8
If he were in next year’s class he wouldn’t even be a thought for at least 2 rounds
