If I'm at the ball park, I think I would root for an opposing team to finish a perfect game once the game is out of reach. However, if it is a team or pitcher I don't like, or if my team still has a chance to win, then I would root for the perfect game to be broken up.

I thought it was neat the Mariners fans gave Humber a standing ovation after the game. Now, they are used to losing and sucking so I guess they can appreciate it more. For me if I was at a Rangers game, I would like to see it unless it was against the Yankees or Carlos Zambrano

If winning is out of the question I absolutely would appluad the pitcher. Not sure if I would necessary root for it. But a perfect game would be awesome to watch

I remember yankee fans cheering for the astros when the astros got a no hitter at the yankees stadium.

Exactly. I think at some point, especially if you are in attendance, you have to start rooting for it to happen if your team has no realistic chance at winning.

It would be fun to say you were at a game where history took place.
