Possibly because the Astros are located in Houston, a few hundred miles west

Download the MLB at bat app. I know it's a bit pricy but it includes all radio broadcasts for the rest of forever.

Their games were on 1560 all the last few years. Not sure how long that dates back. There are several other LA cities with affiliates. Just will suck if there is no coverage all year

Guess they want you to pay 20 bucks a year for the MLB stream

I think the days of the Astros Radio Network are gone unless you live in Southeast Texas.

In years past my luck with picking up affiliates was spotty at best. Many of the stations pre-empt Astros for local sports like high school football.

Your local HS football team will supersede an Astros game, but that happens what...four times a year?

The Astros Radio Network has had an AM affiliate in New Orleans at least since 1996, and it makes sense they would have one since the Astros are the closest MLB team to New Orleans.

Not even close. Not that you see a ton of Astros hats in NO, but you see more Astros hats than any other team in the MLB.

Yankees fans in NOLA? No way. Way more Cubs and Red Sox fans than Yankees.
