the funny thing about the whole thing, is how much of an incompetent dildo, the Mayor of Chicago is. Even the fat choad, Pritzker actually tried to keep them in State.

I bet someone will try to force them not to use Chicago in their name… “if you don’t want to play in our city you can’t use our name”

So what? New York Giant Stadium is in New Jersey and has been there for many decades.

The NY Mets should also move out of Queens down to Haiti.

Third largest city in the country can't even keep it's professional football team, but it's not their problem? lol

New York City and Los Angeles each have zero NFL teams. NFL teams/franchises have a different business model than MLB/NBA/NHL.

He’s actually smart enough to know they had no chance but didn’t wanna take the hit so he pushed it off on Johnson. They’re both completely incompetent communists. Which is funny because Pritzker is a trust fund guy who has done nothing to become a billionaire. Everything his party despises, but he somehow gets a pass.

Johnson is indeed one of the dumbest elected officials in the country, but he was essentially irrelevant to this situation. Lori Lightfoot was the mayor when the Bears won the bid on Arlington. She even hired a firm to propose an expansion of Soldier Field with a roof, but the Bears weren't interested.

Pritzker only tried to keep them in state at the last minute. That fat frick rode the fence for 5 years to protect his own political ambitions. He'd say the Bears deal would get done, but then punt the issue because he didn't want the optics of him giving breaks to billionaire sports owners at the expense of taxpayers (which is hilarious since he's a billionaire who has already taxed us into oblivion, and the Bears' demands weren't unreasonable).

The Chicago Teachers Union has become essentially a mafia organization that controlst he entire state of Illinois.

Simply put, if you control Chicago, you control the state. All Chicago politics now goes through the CTU.

They essentially veto'd the money for the Bears because they want it.

I think the Bears or the McCaskey family bought a pretty sizeable peice of land in Arlington Heights. This sounds like leverage to induce the Illinois legislature to actually do something.

The history and results of taxpayer funded stadiums with private control has not been the financial windfall for communities and municipalities that the projects are sold as. It's rare that you get an economic impact of a stadium like the Superdome which did spur building near it in the 70s.

Let’s not pretend that the Giants or Jets play in NY. Redskins are weird case but I can forgive it.
