And which would be the biggest blowout?

I’ll go baseball being the closest (if someone like Skenes is on the mound; but the team would still get worked by a bad pro team) . Basketball being the biggest blowout.

College baseball teams sometimes beat MLB teams in preseason scrimmages

By bad pro baseball team are we talking about the Royals or a rookie ball team?

Baseball is the only one that would be remotely competitive.

Only baseball. Any NFL football team would kill any college team.

Sticking to the “major” sports:

Closest: Baseball
- Biggest difference here is pitching. A bad MLB pitcher vs a college champion ace.

Farthest: Football
- Even the best NCAA team is going to get worked by an NFL team. Grown arse men, professional athletes vs 19-22 year old kids. A few matchups would be even, but a lot of them would be overwhelming.

Basketball is a good choice, but one or two generational athletes can make the game vs a “bad” NBA team that doesn’t have that type of talent.

Man I think there have been a few teams this century that could have beaten the Pistons last year. 2019 LSU wouldn’t beat the Panthers.

The more physical contact/force is involved in the game as opposed to skill, the further apart the teams. Some college WR’s and DB’s MIGHT be able to compete, but nfl offensive and defensive linemen will absolutely work college players.

Basketball and hockey would be tied for second furthest. Again, man on man physical contact.

Baseball is the most “skill” dependent and least physical contact.

Lacrosse since so many don’t bother going pro but the pro leagues are starting to pay more.

Baseball

I think the skill set/physical attributes of grown arse men would carry any football/hockey/basketball team over the best college team in each sport …by the 3rd/4th Q…it’ll be ugly

Football would be a total blowout with multiple injuries to the college team

Carolina is total crap this year and they would crush UGA by 50.

Basketball by virtue of the scoring system would be the closest. Basketball is the only sport where a shutout aint happening, though baseball would probably have the best chance to actually win if things fall right.

Idk much about women's basketball but I would think a college championship team could beat some WNBA teams
